S574TPW was new to Eastern Counties as 574. She is a Scania L94UB Wright Axcess Floline with 6 speed ZF gearbox.
574 served at just about all the depots throughout First Eastern Counties in her career but mostly spent her time at Norwich. She was renumbered 65574 when First nationalised the fleet numbering system.
Moving to 2008, 574 was refurbished having new flooring, seat frames, cushions and a Ad-Blue system fitted to up rate the emissions from Euro 2 to Euro 4 for the LEZ zone on Castle Meadows, Norwich.
She also spent sometime at First Northampton and First Essex before she finally was retired and purchased by ConnexionsBuses in 2016.
574 stayed with Connexions until November 2017 when Jamie Vendy & Kaylee McNamara purchased her for preservation.
Currently the plans are to restore her into First Blue Bus colours a livery which was produced after First Bus purchased Great Yarmouth Transport in September 1996.
574 hasn’t seen any action to the rally scenes yet, as the restoration is in its early days, the work so far under taken is the stuff you don’t really see but hopefully from fuel tank and bump stops welded up. We hope to rally 574 a little bit in 2019 and anticipate that the re paint will happen in late 2019 or 2020.
